Luxury at its best

Plantation Manor had the very best local architects, engineers, builders and interior decorators used. The finishes are of a standard seldom found; and the location with two of it’s own mooring berths make this one of the most desirable property’s on Thesen Island.

All the rooms are all large and spacious with the centre of the Manor being a double volume room as the dining room opens up to the rooms above. There is wonderful natural lighting and where possible expansive views of the lagoon at the end of the beautifully manicured gardens.

Four bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms will sleep eight people. To ensure the most comfortable stay there are heated towel rails, under floor heating for winter and overhead paddle fans when required in summer.

Two of the rooms face the lagoon and two face the northern Knysna hills. The lagoon facing bedrooms have king size double beds whilst the bedrooms facing the northern hills have two single beds each.

A tiled patio runs the whole length of the guesthouse front facing the lagoon with its own cane furniture and leads into a ten metre swimming pool and a relaxing spa jacuzzi. A state of the art charcoal barbeque completes the patio.

There’s something for every family member. Being a marina development, the primary focus is of course on water activities. But confirmed landlubbers too have plenty of choice. For those who enjoy racquet games, maybe a hectic game of squash or on a balmy summer’s evening, mixed doubles tennis under floodlight.
